The Bulgarian Council on Refugees and Migrants actively participated in 2018 Age, Gender and Diversity Participatory Assessment, which UNHCR conducts every year in cooperation with the State Agency for Refugees and the civil society. BCRM Project Assistant participated in sessions with focus groups with refugees which took place in the reception centers and at the integration centers and external addresses. The sessions were fruitful and helped the organisation to find answers and have ideas on future activities.

Representatives of the Bulgarian Council on Refugees and migrants participated in the final phase of the assessment: a two-day final seminar where the outcomes from the focus groups were outlined and recommendations drafted. The seminar took place on 6-7 November 2018, in Lion Hotel, Borovets.
